Our business is growing

NORTH EAST SPREADING Co was formed when MANSFIELD FERTILIZER Co and NORTH EASTERN SPREADERS joined forces.

Starting with the right interpretation of your soil health and then adding a good dose of the latest technology to drive and report on your fertilizer application, our modern and reliable spreader trucks with experienced operators can deliver on everything you need to grow better, healthier pastures and crops.

Your productivity is our goal

The purpose of our business is simple: To make it easy for farmers to build healthier soils and more productive crops.

And the only way we’ll get there is by doing everything we can to help you become as successful as possible. That’s why we provide expert service across the entire pasture and crop management cycle. These services include:

Soil sampling and lab analysis;

Soil test interpretation by independent agronomists;

Prescriptive fertilizer planning;

Fertilizer buying from all major suppliers at the best prices;

Farm mapping;

Fertilizer spreading, including coverage maps and detailed application-rate reporting.

Whether your property is relatively small, with intensive pasture productivity requirements, or a vast grain farm, our trucks and technology are ready to get the job done. All delivered with a dedication to service that sets us apart.

Independent advice

We’ve deliberately chosen to work with a number of independent agronomists. We can help you find a leading agro from your local area, or if you already have an on-going relationship with someone, we’ll be only too happy to work with them. Because we use independent agronomists, you can be sure you’ll get an objective interpretation of our soil analysis and fertilizer recommendations.

Better buying for you

When you work with us, we act as an independent broker to buy fertilizer on your behalf. And whether it’s through a large volume retailer or direct from a leading manufacturers, we constantly monitor the market to make sure you get the best possible price.

Reliable trucks, experienced operators

Our fleet of all-wheel-drive spreader trucks includes the relatively ‘light-footed’ Hino 4-tonner, the go-just-about-anywhere 5-tonne Fastrac, and the 2 x 8-tonner certified to AFSA Accu-Spread requirements (which means there’s no more than 5% variance from the centre to the outside of the spread).
And they’re all driven by our team of operators who are every bit as reliable as the trucks themselves.

Performance and job reporting

Here’s how we work. We start by mapping your farm, confirming paddock boundaries and individual and aggregate paddock hectares (or acres, if you prefer). Next, we calculate the exact amount of fertilizer you’ll need. Once it’s spread, we’ll send you a map detailing where we’ve applied the fertilizer, at what rate, and total quantity used. We then keep your reports in our system so you instantly recall your fertilizer records for any season or any year.

In full, on time, too easy

As we’ve said, our aim is simple: to help farmers make their land more productive: making soils healthier and crops more productive. So let’s talk.
